Mary Damrow
 
Mary Damrow was born to sing. She not only hits "all the right notes",
but her communication in song is totally absorbing.
Mary started singing professionally in the late 1960's.
After becoming a Christian in 1971, she became lead singer in the Christian band called "Sheep".
That's where she met her husband Michael. He was the bands bass player and songwriter.
The Sheep toured extensively in the Midwest and then headed for Europe.

After doing a whirlwind tour of Scandinavia, which produced an album, the band settled in London, England. Michael and Mary were called on to aid in the script writing of the multi-media rock musical called Lonesome Stone, which was based on a song written by Michael.
This elaborate production was staged at the famous Rainbow Theatre in London's west end.

Mary was cast as the female lead in the production and garnered excellent reviews from the English press.
One reviewer stated that she had "true star quality."

Motherhood came calling and Michael and Mary returned to the United States for the birth of their first daughter, Elizabeth. Three more children were to follow and during the next 20 years, Mary would lead church worship, sing on request at various festivals and meetings, but her primary ministry remained with her family.

She has never stopped ministering God's love through music, and now that the nest is empty, Mary and Michael are ready to launch into as much music ministry as God leads.
